Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload sheet metal materials using a forklift
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and CAD drawings
  • Ensure materials meet specifications

Job Summary:

The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks to support production operations in the fabrication department. This includes material handling, part sorting and stacking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading and unloading materials and products.
  • Perform general assembly and fabrication tasks.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery as needed.
  • Prepare and organize materials for production processes.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support production staff with tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor and report part/material issues.
  • Scheduled Hours: Monday- Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm, Friday as needed

Qualifications:

Paint Line Hanger – Powder Coating Department

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a Paint Line Hanger to support our powder coating operations. You will be responsible for hanging, prepping, and staging metal parts before they move through our powder coating process. This role is essential to maintaining smooth production flow and high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hang and unhang metal parts according to job specifications
  • Inspect and clean parts to ensure they are ready for coating
  • Properly position parts for maximum efficiency and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
  • Communicate any part defects or job issues to supervisor immediately
  • Assist with racking, material movement, or line support as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable standing and moving for 8–10 hours per shift
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
  • Previous experience in a powder coating or industrial environment preferred
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a positive work attitude are a must

Finishing Supervisor

As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated Finishing Supervisor to lead our finishing department, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient workflow.

Position Overview:

The Finishing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the deburring, grinding, sanding, powder coating, and finishing of metal parts to meet customer specifications. This role involves leading a team, optimizing processes, maintaining quality control, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Lead: Manage the finishing team, assign tasks, and monitor workflow to meet production deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Ensure parts meet quality standards, including smooth finishes, proper deburring, and defect-free surfaces.
  • Powder Coating Oversight:
    • Manage and oversee the powder coating process, including surface preparation, application, and curing.
    • Ensure proper pretreatment of metal surfaces for adhesion and durability.
    • Monitor powder coating booth operations, ensuring proper gun settings, thickness, and uniformity.
    • Maintain coating quality by preventing defects such as orange peel, pinholes, or poor adhesion.
    • Oversee curing oven temperature control to ensure proper bonding.
  • Process Optimization: Improve finishing techniques, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency in sanding, deburring, and powder coating processes.
  • Training & Development: Train employees on proper finishing techniques, powder coating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines, proper ventilation, and PPE requirements.
  • Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of finishing tools, powder coating booths, spray guns, and curing ovens to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with production supervisors and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of production output, quality checks, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

    • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a metal finishing, powder coating, deburring, or fabrication environment; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of powder coating application, curing, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with pretreatment processes (e.g., sandblasting, phosphate coating).
    • Familiarity with spray gun calibration, powder types, and oven curing cycles.
    • Understanding of metal finishing techniques, including grinding, sanding, and deburring.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect and ensure high-quality finishing standards.
  • Safety Focus: Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety regulations, including handling powder coatings and ventilation requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
