Jan finds the entire fabrication process very exciting. Her father founded Starflex back in 1981, and she has been involved in the operation on and off since its beginning. In 2017, she and Tim Garner officially purchased the company, allowing her to continue her father’s legacy of quality and innovation.

The people involved and the machinery used to turn a blank piece of metal into an awesome product are wonderful. Her favorite part is watching employees work together as a team to exceed customer expectations while learning and growing their knowledge – they are truly talented individuals.

Jan is honored every day knowing she gets to witness and assist with the growth of the business and the team and to contribute to the success of Starflex customers. When she’s not working on the growth and success of the company you can find her at the lake or the beach with a glass of red wine, enjoying the outdoors.

Tim enjoys seeing what Starflex’s new state-of-the-art equipment can produce. A cousin introduced him to the world of metal fabrication over 30 years ago, and he never looked back. He has been with Starflex for 26 of those years, and in 2017, he purchased the company with Jan Eidson.

Being there for his leaders, helping to develop them, and treating employees with respect is very important to him. Watching the evolution of advancements in manufacturing is fascinating, and being able to bring these advanced technologies to Starflex is a personal point of pride. He looks forward to seeing how each new process or machine changes how products are produced to provide higher quality and production efficiency.

When he’s not flinging fabrication facts or admiring advanced technology, Tim retreats to the outside world for a game of golf or a spot of fishing.

Jason has always been fascinated by the process of starting with raw materials and creating a part or assembly. He has been at Starflex for almost 13 years. He started in shipping and receiving but moved up through the ranks into machine operation, sheet metal specialist, and then on to engineering and operations as a fully certified fabrication engineer.

He enjoys the entire process, from using design software to creating interactive 3D models to handcrafting finished assemblies. Jason has a knack for envisioning what the customer envisions, and he loves bringing their ideas into reality.

When he’s not tinkering with CAM codes or fabricating quality components, Jason is improving his bowling average or enjoying a relaxing afternoon out in nature or in his trusty recliner.

Theresa has been a dedicated member of the Starflex team for over ten years, celebrating her anniversary with the company this past September. With an MBA from Strayer University, she never expected to come into the metal fabrication industry, but when she got here, it just fit.

What excites Theresa most about metal fabrication is seeing ideas transform from concept to reality — from initial design to finished product. She is driven by the challenge of problem-solving, the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, and the satisfaction of contributing to the growth and success of every project she’s a part of.

Outside of her professional work, Theresa is passionate about volunteering in her community and spending time with family. Her blend of analytical skills and creative energy makes her an invaluable asset to the Starflex team, where she continuously contributes to both operational excellence and team development.

What Dylan enjoys most about the manufacturing process is seeing things go from raw materials to a finished product. He comes from a family with a long history in the metal fabrication industry, and joining in their footsteps felt natural.

He knew Starflex was the best place for him to gain every bit of experience he could as he furthers his education, because their dedication to providing the highest quality customer service through continual process improvements extends to all aspects of operations.

When he’s not shuffling papers or studying for exams, Dylan is outside counting birdies or enjoying the company of friends and family.

For Dennis, it’s all about working together as a team to see products through from start to final completion. He started in metal manufacturing as a welder and joined Starflex over 24 years ago. In that time, he learned a great deal about manufacturing and metal fabrication.

Today, he shares his experience and knowledge with his team to help create high-quality products for Starflex customers. Teamwork is essential to him, whether it’s fostering a team environment on the shop floor or working with clients to develop solutions.

When he’s not coaching the team to success or fiddling with metal components, Dennis is working on his backswing and enjoying time with his family.

Haley has been part of the Starflex team for two years, bringing her sharp attention to detail, calm under pressure,
and love for connecting with customers. One of her favorite parts of the job is heading out to the floor to see designs
come to life — especially since Starflex serves such a wide range of industries and unique projects.
Outside of work, Haley is all about family and community. Whether camping, spending time at church, or volunteering
with His Feeding Ministry — her family’s outreach that provides meals and support to the homeless in Atlanta — she
pours her heart into the people around HER

I handle purchasing and supplier coordination at Starflex Fabrication, making sure we have the
right materials on time. Outside of work I enjoy fitness, reading, and trying new experiences.

I joined Starflex in 2021 but have always been fascinated with welding and metal in general. I started out working here as a welder straight out of welding school. I quickly learned a lot about the industry and began improving my skills. Along the way, I have learned how to run our Press breaks and Lasers as well. I am currently working in the Engineering Department and enjoy using our 3-D CAD software to design parts from scratch.

Whether it is a simple individual part or an entire assembly with multiple components, it is always cool to see the finished project come together. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors and helping around our family farm. You will always find me hunting, fishing, or taking care of farm animals on the weekends.
