History of Starflex
Founded in 1981 in College Park, GA, Starflex Corporation began as a family-owned original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the poultry industry, specializing in manufacturing and servicing poultry packaging machinery. In 2010, demand for the equipment dropped and Starflex had to adjust to the changing markets.
Their next step was a natural evolution to custom metal fabrication. Starflex had the tools and the capabilities; their team had the skills and experience. Thus began Starflex’s era of custom fabrication.
Six years after shifting to custom fabrication, Starflex’s founder passed away. However, the legacy lives on through the daughter, Jan Eidson, who purchased the business from the family with business partner Tim Garner. Starflex Corporation was officially renamed in April of 2017 to Starflex Fabrication.
Today, both Jan and Tim are dedicated to the growth of Starflex, their customers, and their employees.
